Anti-Racist Resources for Musicians & Artists

The Artist Rights Alliance stands firmly with the Black Lives Matter movement and against systemic racism, police brutality, and institutional oppression.

Music and revolution have always gone hand in hand. As artists, we have platforms that are primed to ignite and further social change. It’s our responsibility to speak out, educate, and elevate voices who may not have the reach we do. To aid in that work, ARA has compiled a list of resources and tools.

No list of anti-racist resources is exhaustive, including this one — but we hope artists, musicians, and our Artist Rights Alliance community find this to be one useful tool among many. Below, you will find links to various resources designed to aid your activism, elevate Black voices, and contribute to your anti-racist and activist education. We have also included links to other more extensive resource lists.
